AFL 2024: Jake Stringer GWS trade stalls, says Essendon

Essendon list boss Matt Rosa says there remains “a fair bit to play out” in trade negotiations with GWS for mercurial forward Jake Stringer.

Rosa shut down the prospect of a 안전놀이터for the Giants and experienced midfielder Dylan Shiel as he confirmed talks were continuing over Stringer’s future.

The former West Coast wingman, who took over the Bombers’ list management from longtime boss Adrian Dodoro in a succession plan earlier this year, said there was strong interest from GWS.

Stringer, 30, triggered a contract 토토사이트this season to earn a one-year extension at Essendon but has been seeking to secure a multi-year deal.

He did not miss a game all season for the first time in his 12-year career and booted 42 goals.

“We’re continuing talks with Jake’s management group, and we’ve picked up some discussions with GWS as well, they’ve shown some interest,” Rosa told AFL Trade Radio on Tuesday.
