The group was recorded as unprofitable for the six months ended Sept. 30, as its gaming table business remained suspended. According to Century Entertainment, this was “mainly due to the spread of COVID-19 and the forced lockdown measures and temporary closures of all casinos in Cambodia.”
The company added that the bulk gaming table business “is aimed to resume operations by November 20, 2022 and begin contributing financially in 2023.”

In its latest filing, the company mentioned a 2020 agreement to relocate its gaming operations from the Sunshine Bay Hotel in Sihanoukville to a place called Dara Sakor in the state of Kokong. “We maintained active discussions on the number of game tables to be installed in the new location,” the company said in a document on Monday.
