Casino technology and content provider IDX Games Ltd has launched its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot “IDX-AI Bot,” which can automate casino gameplay data analysis and provide venue managers with actionable insights into their operations in real time.
Peter Wong, chief executive and technology officer of IDX Games, told GGRAsia, “It’s based on allowing us to analyze the casino’s data using large language models.” The product was on display at the Global Game Expo (G2E) Asia 2024, an industry trade show in Macau.
IDX Games states that users can enter questions about casino operations into the chat window. It says the application can generate a response within minutes.
Any live game data generated by a casino’s slot game or table game can be processed by AI chatbots to analyze issues such as expected revenue and sales of the casino, player’s win-loss rate, and casino game hold rate, Wong explains.
“The philosophy is that we run [AI chatbots] on [open platforms].” The CEO of IDX Games explained that casino data could be “provided by any vendor.”
For example, data collected by ‘smart tables’ using radio frequency identification (RFID) chips (e.g., tables created by Walker Digital Table Systems LLC) or technology vendors using table camera systems for data collection.
“As soon as we have the data, we can generate the output,” says Wong. 무료슬롯사이트
“The large language model has already predefined a number of parameters to understand what types of bets are valid, what are ‘bankers’ and ‘players’ [in the case of baccarat games], etc. The model can calculate all of these [information pieces].”
IDX Games plans to launch a “export as a report” feature for AI chatbots later this year, which will allow users to ask their systems to automatically create casino data analysis reports, according to Wong.
In 2019, IDX Games, which specializes in casino technology and equipment, was launched. It is a company that supplies display control systems for game tables and electronic table games (ETGs).
AI chatbots have the potential to replace traditional dashboard-based analytics products that show various financial statistics related to casino operations, Wong suggested.
“[Already] we have our own dashboard solution to show financial data on casino gameplay. But because every customer wants a different dataset, vendors “have to create a new dashboard for every customer,” Wong says.
“Essentially, the ability to automate reporting on AI chatbots and data will replace all future dashboards,” IDX Games CEO suggested.
