K-League Life Sharing Ambassador Park Joo-ho visited his hometown team Suwon FC to share the value of life sharing.

Since 2016, the Korea Football League, the National Institute of Organ and Tissue Blood Management of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Korea Organ Donation Center have been conducting the ‘K League Life Sharing Campaign’ to spread positive 토토사이트 순위 awareness of organ and tissue donation in Korea.

This year, K-League legend Park Joo-ho was appointed as the K-League Life Sharing Ambassador to promote the importance of life sharing, and on the 14th of this month, Park visited the home stadium of his favorite team, Suwon FC, to celebrate Life Sharing Week. Life Sharing Week is a week-long period designated every year from the second Monday of September to honor the love and sacrifice of organ and tissue donors and spread the culture of life sharing.

On the 14th, Park visited Suwon Sports Complex, where Suwon FC and Jeonbuk Hyundai FC played in the 30th round of the K League 1, and held a fan signing session at the Life Sharing booth before the game started. About 300 K League fans visited the Life Sharing booth, and a total of 55 fans joined the pledge to donate organs on the spot.

On the day, Park Joo-ho said, “It was meaningful to return to the Chinjung team after a long time and let the fans know the importance of life sharing, and we will do our best to make more K League fans aware of life sharing in the future.”

In addition to his stadium promotional activities, Park is also a special lecturer for the K-League Life Sharing Tour. The K-League Life Sharing Team Tour is an education program that travels to K-League teams to help players and members understand the need for organ tissue donation and participate in the program, and those who wish to donate after the training are asked to make a pledge.

Park made his debut as a special instructor in July by conducting a life-sharing education for 31 members of Incheon United, followed by a visit to his hometown team Ulsan in August to educate 23 members of the Ulsan team. As a result, a total of 16 players from Incheon United and 17 players from Ulsan joined the organ donation pledge.

Park Joo-ho will continue to actively play his role as a K League Baseball Life Sharing Ambassador to convey the value of life sharing to K League players and fans.

The league will visit the Pohang Steel Yard, where the Pohang Steelers and Gangwon FC will play in the 31st round of the K League 1 this weekend, to open a life sharing booth and conduct a life sharing campaign.
