Sydney, Australia-based slot game developer Light & Wonder said in a press release on Wednesday that its global business volume has “surged on a large scale.”
Lightning Box is a mobile and slot game developer that serves customers in the land-based, online and social casino sectors. The developer was acquired by Scientific Games, a legacy company of Light & Wonder, in 2021.
The report says Lightning Box has benefited from Light & Wonder’s “professional and commercial support” since August 2021. The parent company said August this year was Lightning Box’s “biggest month ever in terms of sales.” 파칭코
The data quoted Lightning Box CEO and co-founder Peter Kosley as saying the pace at which the studio flourished after the acquisition of Light & Wonder “fuddled us.”
He added, “Our game is gaining new popularity around the world, and we can’t wait to release new hits to further enter the U.S., Canada and European markets.”
Lightning Box is now known to operate with more than 50 leading operators in the U.S. and Europe, including BetMGM, FanDuel, Leo Vegas, William Hill and Betson. The developer releases up to 12 new titles each year in the United States through Light & Wonder’s open gaming platform.
In a prepared speech, Light & Wonder’s iGaming CEO Dylan Slani said Lightning Box’s team produced “fantastic content that really resonates with players who enjoy land-based titles.”
“The numbers produced in the first 12 months of the acquisition prove that introducing Lightning Box into the Light and Wonder family was the right decision,” Mr. Slaney added
In late July, Lightning Box said it was “inspired by Asia” for one of its newest games, “Devin Stars.” According to the manufacturer, the new title was scheduled to enter the general market in the first half of August.
