A prison sentence for stealing money from one’s job

As mentioned, Simon started betting on soccer with his friends, but he quickly ended up spending a lot of money. While he was still gambling, his addiction emerged, and as a result, he became involved in the activity 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Without a doubt, the convenience of online betting played an important role in this process, and in Simon’s words, “Gambling has consumed all my thoughts.”

He was hired as an accountant, had a good job, and had easy access to credit. But Simon’s gambling addiction was getting out of control, and he lost tens of thousands of people a day. 안전 토토사이트

However, the man’s downfall was close when he eventually began stealing from his job. Borrowing money, selling things like cars, and using the money that won the gamble to repay the borrowed money could only have stopped so far, and in the end, Simon confessed that he had stolen more than 600,000 pounds ($747,200) from the management of the company he was employed at the time.

This meant a difficult time for the man, who was later arrested when his fiancee at the time separated from him and changed the locks into the house where they lived. Eventually, Simon was sentenced to six years in prison, where he continued to engage in various gambling activities with the other inmates.

He estimated a total loss of 4 million pounds ($5 million) and years of life due to a serious gambling addiction. Fortunately, as mentioned, Simon was able to start his addiction with the help of gambler Anonymous and his family.
