Dericht finally returns to training

German media Kicker reported on the 27th that Munich center back Matthijs de Licht has officially returned to the team’s training after recovering from his injury. In a related development, Munich coach Thomas Tuchel also said earlier that de Licht will return.

Dutch national team member De Licht missed about a month earlier this month after suffering a torn ligament inside his right knee joint in a DFB Pokal match against Saarbrucken.

In the meantime, Kim Min-jae kept his defense line in Munich without a break. He played full-time in 15 consecutive matches through an away match in the 12th round of the German Bundesliga against Cologne on Saturday. Some German media expressed concern over Kim Min-jae’s “controversy over his excessive number of games.” Whenever he did, Kim Min-jae reiterated, “It’s better to play than play bad.” 온라인카지노

De Ligt’s return opened his breathing room. With his tight schedule of both leagues and the Champions League, Tuchel is now in a situation where he can use three proven senior center backs – Kim Min-jae, De Ligt, and Dayot Upamecano.

“Kicker” predicted that De Licht will not be easy to play in the fifth home game of the European Champions League group stage against Copenhagen on the 30th, as he has just returned to training. De Licht is likely to make his return through a league home game against Union Berlin at home on the 2nd of next month.

The only time Kim Min-jae and De Ligt played full-time together in a league game this season was against Mainz on October 21. Even after De Ligt’s return, it is certain that Kim Min-jae will play in the “Dark Week.” Tuchel relied on Kim Min-jae even though he sometimes made a pass mistake.

Munich confirmed its advance to the round of 16 early in Group A by winning all four of the Champions League group matches. As the upcoming match against Copenhagen is not important, there is a possibility that it will give key resources such as Kim Min-jae a break in terms of rotation.
