The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday searched for corruption cases at the Delhi and Jammu sites of Hockey India (HI) and the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). A senior CBI official conducted a raid after a preliminary investigation and informed New Delhi that he had registered the case against former IOA chairman Narinder Druve Bhatra and other IOA executives.
The defendants named in the FIR were identified as former IOA President Narinder Druve Bhatra, former managing director of hockey India Cdr RK Srivastava, former hockey India President Rajinder Singh, former hockey India Secretary General Maud Mustak Ahmad and other unknown hockey India officials.
In 2018, it was alleged that the then chairman of hockey India and then secretary general of hockey India conspired with IOA chairman and then executive director of hockey India to renovate and keep IOA president’s office without prior approval from the hockey India executive committee.
Additionally, it has been alleged that the defendant fabricated and forged records to justify and conceal fraudulent expenditures during the approval phase. 스포츠토토탑
Searches were carried out at Hockey India and IOA offices in Delhi and at the defendant’s residence in New Delhi and Jammu to retrieve criminal documents and records.
