Professional basketball team Suwon KT defeated Goyang Sono to earn its first back-to-back wins of the season. KT defeated Sono 101-65 in a home game of the 2023-2024 regular season at the KT Arena in Suwon on Saturday. KT, which defeated Changwon LG in its opening game on March 21 but lost three straight games afterward, snapped its losing streak by sacrificing Seoul Sam Sung on March 4. Notably, KT also enjoyed its first home win of the season, as its last two victories were away from home.
With three wins out of three, KT moved into a tie for fifth place with Anyang Chungkwanjang and Seoul SK.KT jumped out to a 30-15, double-digit lead in the first quarter behind a nine-point, five-rebound, four-assist all-around performance from Paris Bass and three 3-pointers from Han Hee-won. SONO struggled in the first quarter, shooting just 2 of 15 from three-point range and shooting just 27% overall.
In the second quarter, Sono tightened up its defense and cut the deficit to 27-36 after Lee Jung-hyun scored back-to-back points with a three-pointer and a steal with just over six minutes left, but could not get any closer, and the half ended with KT leading 51-38.Bass had already recorded a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds) in the first half. SONO was unable to find easy offensive lanes in the middle of the third quarter, even though Jeon Sung-hyun hit his first three-pointer and Choi Hyun-min contributed a three-pointer.

Bass had a near triple-double with 21 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, while Ha Yoon-ki chipped in with 21 points and six rebounds.
