Harra’s announces 2007 WSOP schedule

Harrah’s added nine events to its 2007 World Series of Poker schedule. WSOP will award 55 bracelets, including 13 “World Championships” in various games. WSOP will begin on June 1 with a $5,000 World Championship Mixed Hold’em and a $500 casino employee event. The main event will begin on June 6, with the final table play set to begin on July 17. All tournaments will once again be held at the Rio All Suit Hotel & Casino.

Rio has up to 300 tables available for tournaments, satellites and cash games, up 100 from last year. Additional tables will allow for larger tournament fields and reduce the number of start dates for main events.

New events on schedule include: $5,000 World Championship Mixed Holdum (unlimited/unlimited), $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud High-Low-8 or higher, $5,000 World Championship Head Up No-Limit Holdum (unlimited), and $1,500 Port Limit Omaha High-Low Split-8 or higher.

The popular $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. competition returns to the world championship. It took three marathon events last year and ended at 9 a.m., but the competition has been extended to five days this year. 사설 토토사이트

Two H.O.R.S.E. tournaments were added: $2,500 and $5,000, plus a $1,000 S.H.O.E. event. In another change, all bracelet events end before the main event begins. In 2006, WSOP set a record of 42,000 participants in 46 events, including 8,773 for the main event. The main event prize money exceeded $85 million, while the series prize money exceeded $171 million.
