Gaming equipment provider International Game Technology Plc (IGT) said it has guided a “critical part” of its R&D efforts to a “roadmap” for “high-performance interlocking, incremental jackpot” features for Asia.

The executive also said IGT will continue to develop “real estate-themed products that are attractive to the public market and very interesting.”
He added that one such example was the “Starstock Singapore Light” developed for Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands casino resort. “It was popular with our customers and their players,” he said.
Mr Cheers said IGT “continues to make meaningful progress in Asia,” adding that the company’s local team “has helped local customers diversify their game floors and drive the game.”

Mr Cheers said the “mobile host module” – part of the IGT Advantage casino management system – “has proven to be an influential player acquisition tool in the region.”
“Our proven suite of bonus apps is also very popular in the region and has cashless solutions that have attracted the attention of many operators,” the executive added.
“Ying Fu Wa Link,” a game designed specifically for Asia in terms of gaming and hardware in IGT’s portfolio, is “available throughout the region and is performing particularly well in Macau and the Philippines,” Cheers noted.

Cheers said products linked to prosperity “are outstanding in the global marketplace,” adding: “The new product offers two basic games with individual free gaming capabilities. “Filled Navigation” provides wildness that is scattered during base and free-game play. “Wansirui” includes wildness multipliers among free gaming events.
“We succeeded in localizing the game for local deployment. So I want to see what the game can do in the customer base across Asia,” said the company’s Asia sales director.
