New Gateway Casino in Chathamkent to be completed in mid-2019

Construction of the Cascade Casino Chatham Kent officially began on July 5 with an official groundbreaking ceremony. Construction of a CA$36 million casino site owned by Gateway Casino is expected to be completed in mid-2019.

As Tony Santo, CEO of Gateway Casino and Entertainment previously said, the new casino will be home to more than 300 slot machines and 12 table games. In addition, the site, which will be located in Chatham, will house Gateway’s iconic restaurant brands, MATCH Eatrey & Public House and The Buffet.

When the groundbreaking ceremony was held, Santo called the venue a “great attraction of art entertainment” for the community and a major contributor to the local economy. The new casino is expected to create 200 new jobs and millions of dollars in economic spin-offs through the construction process. 카지노사이트 순위

The casino will be the first new facility for Gateway Casino in Ontario. Currently, the brand owns many gambling facilities located in Camloops, Langley and Penticton.

Randy Hope, the mayor of Chathamkent, shared his belief that local people would be very happy about the new gambling, entertainment, and dining facilities.

Gateway casino CEO addresses gambling-related damage concerns
Gateway Casino’s new gambling and entertainment venue will be held at 615 Richmond Street in Chatham, where Wheels Inn was previously located. As mentioned above, casinos are expected to start a new chapter in the community, not only because they are simply gambling facilities, but also because they are considered important future contributors to the local economy.

Gateway Casino already says 100 employees at Dresden Casino will move to the new Chatham location as soon as the new facility is completed. The cost of the project was estimated at around C$36 million and the casino is expected to resemble other assets of the brand currently located in Penticton and Camloops.

The opening of the new facility has raised concerns related to gambling-related damage and rising gambling rates in the region. Citing these concerns at an official groundbreaking ceremony yesterday, Santo said restaurants and casino entrances will be set up separately, creating a family-friendly facility. Special expenses will also be set up to prevent minors from entering the casino.

The casino floor will be located in more than 45,200 square feet of space, and the facility is expected to provide greater revenue to municipalities compared to those generated in Dresden. According to Gateway Casino CEO, the yet-to-be-built location will emerge as a worthy contender for Caesars Windsor, which is closer to a “destination casino.”
