Hart threw 27 pitches against Ahn Joong-yeol, Do Tae-hoon, Park Min-woo, Matt Davidson, Kim Joo-won, and Choi Jung-won in a live pitching session on Tuesday (Feb. 20) at Enex Field in Tucson, Arizona, USA. His fastball was clocked at 147 mph.
On his first live pitch, Hart said, “My first live pitch went well and I didn’t have any problems. I focused on getting comfortable on the mound and throwing the ball rather than testing specific pitches. I will gradually increase the number of live pitches and prepare for the season without any problems.”
On facing Hart, Park said, “It was tricky because I didn’t have a clean ball against Hart. He’s tall, and when he pitches, the ball hides and comes out, so it feels like he’s faster than he actually is,” said Park.

Meanwhile, Hart, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, is a physical left-hander who stands at 196 centimeters tall and weighs 90 kilograms. He is known for his fastball, which reaches up to 100 mph, and his ability to use a variety of pitches, including a two-seam fastball, cutter, slider, curveball, and changeup, as well as his excellent command of his delivery.
He has pitched in four big league games and 143 games in the minors, compiling a 42-47 record with a 3.72 ERA.
