Park MGM, the last MGM Resorts International hotel casino to not reopen on the Las Vegas Strip, will resume operations as early as mid-October.
The company has officially announced that it plans to reopen Park MGM within 30-45 days. This detail can be found at the end of a press release announcing that MGM Resorts’ Empire City Hotel Casino in Yonkers, New York, will reopen on Sept. 21.
As Empire City reopens, “MGM Resorts will reopen all domestic properties except Park MGM and Four Seasons in Las Vegas following a temporary closure earlier this year amid the COVID-19 crisis,” the company’s filing said. “Park MGM is expected to reopen within the next 30-45 days.” 안전 토토사이트
Bill Hornbuckle, president and CEO of MGM Resorts, said Park MGM’s reopening largely depended on the numbers coming from The Mirage. Originally, Park MGM’s initial goal to reopen was Oct. 1.
“We’ll be monitoring the business until September,” Hornbuckle told The Mirage, which reopened on Aug. 27. “[Park MGM] is in the middle of Las Vegas Boulevard and would love to be open for obvious reasons. But if Park Theater doesn’t open, that’s a challenge. That’s where the building runs.”
