Pennsylvania Parks Casino Sipensburg Postpones Open Date to 2023

Parx, one of the largest casino brands managed by Bensalem-based Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, is investing $65 million to turn its former Lowe building, located at 250 Conestoga Drive in Siffensburg, into a gambling facility.

The 73.000-square-meter casino project will include a total of 500 slot machines, 48 electronic table games, and a “first-class” sports bar and restaurant that can accommodate 100 customers.

The casino is currently hiring new workers for the grand opening, and there are currently about 50 positions in operation, including surveillance personnel, security personnel, bartenders, and chefs.

Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment was named the top bidder in the 2018 Auction Round three years ago, paying more than $8.1 million (roughly W81 billion) to purchase a Category 4 license for the “Satellite Casino.” 안전놀이터

The application for a Category 4 permit was approved in January 2021 after Parks Casino met the requirements of the zoning ordinance and construction of Parks Casino Cippensburg began the following month.

After securing a Category 4 gambling license in Cumberland County that gave casino brand Pax the right to build and operate a small “satellite casino” containing no more than 700 slots and 50 table games, the casino project now requires a larger Category 2 license with unlimited casino construction.
