Rivers Casino Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Allegheny County (SEA) Sports & Exhibition Bureau announced today that Rivers Casino has paid $109.2 million to build PPG Paint Arena.
Rivers Casino contributes $7.5 million annually to the SEA, with installments taking place in October and April each year, with $4.2 million to be paid this week, and $3.3 million to be paid in installments on April 1, 2024. 경마사이트
By 2038, Rivers Casino will contribute a total of $225 million each time it agrees with the SEA to build the stadium, which was completed in 2010. Rivers Casino opened in August 2009.
“We are always proud of the Pittsburgh Penguins and happy to support their home ice,” said Bud Green, general manager of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. “We appreciate the partnership of the sea and are looking forward to another exciting season with hockey and other entertainment at PPG Paints Arena.”
Rivers Casino brings in about $160 million annually, including economic development and tourism funds from Pennsylvania, Allegheny County and the city of Pittsburgh.
