Samsung Lions catcher Kang Min-ho (38) has moved into a tie for second place in the KBO for career games played. Kang Min-ho started the home game against the NC Dinos at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu on Oct. 30 as the No. 5 hitter, making his 2,223rd career KBO appearance. His 2,223rd game ties him with Jung Sung-hoon for second place in the category, and he is 14 games shy of Park Yong-taek’s 2,237th game .With 12 regular-season games remaining this year, Kang’s team, Samsung, will have to wait until next year to set the record for most KBO games played. After joining the Lotte Giants in 2004, Kang Min-ho made his debut on September 19 of that year against the Busan Hyundai Unicorns .In his 10th year in the league, he reached the 1,000-game mark on August 8, 2013, against the Jamsil LG Twins, and became the 15th player in history to reach the 2,000-game mark on April 30 last year against the Gwangju KIA Tigers .Despite being a physically demanding catcher, Kang Min-ho has played more than 100 games in 17 of his 20 seasons in the 바카라사이트 KBO. He is the only catcher among the top 10 players in career games played.
